Since beginning this project, I have done more consistent practice on my guitar than ever before, and I really believe that it's paying off. I am continuing to work on two songs: "Closer to Fine" by the Indigo Girls, and "Out Loud" by Dispatch. The dispatch song requires F# barre chords, so it is fantastic practice for me because it takes so much work for me to play it. It requires me to slow down and be much more deliberate about where I put my fingers and how to transition in and out of different placements.
My roommates have commented on my improvements, as well, which is powerful positive reinforcement. This week I will be recording what I have been able to do so far so that I can share it with you all.
Consistency, though. It really is key.
